Improving Quality of Life for people with MS – Bolton, Salford and Manchester

We’ve launched a new project to support people living with MS in Bolton, Salford and Manchester.

The project aims to support people with MS to improve their emotional wellbeing and financial security.

It’s funded by the National Lottery Community Fund and is delivered in partnership with the MS Society

What can the project help with?

The project provides support and information on a range of topics, including:

• Finances - financial advice, debt advice, benefits advice, benefits health checks or support with issues relating to your housing.

• Independence - to enable you to be as independent and mobile as possible, including applying for an MS Society grant where this is an option

• Employment - support to stay in/return to work or help with an employer who doesn’t understand MS

• Wellbeing - Improving your wellbeing by linking you with local groups who can provide opportunities for you to meet other people with MS.

You do not have to do any of this alone, as you will be matched with one of our volunteers who can support you whilst you are involved with the project.
